May the words of my mouth and thoughts of my heart find favor before You - O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. ^Psalm 19:14

Let's Part the Clouds and Show the World the Son!

Valerie introduced me to a new song this week. I can say that at this moment, right now, at 7:03pm October 9, 2010 - it is my favorite song. ;) So I thought I would right to share it with you! Why not, right?

*inspirationsal music*

Anyway. This song's lyrics are - simply put - "BRILLIANT" (quoting valerie).  So listen and read the lyrics. Then tell me what you think! :D

Signing out from Breckenridge!!! IT IS SO PRETTY HERE!

I like, like to be liked
And no one likes to hear the truth
And I've seen what the truth can do
So I tried, tried to downsize
The part of You that's hard to tell
But the layoff didn't go so well
Beat around the burning bush
Till that fire went away
God was once so palpable
Before the shades of gray

We might as well just fold our hands
If we can't call a spade a spade
Cuz we will miss the heart each time
If we won't ever shoot them straight
These pleasantries shading me and you too
Let's part the clouds
And show the world the Son

We think, think we are helping
By giving You a little flare
But it doesn't matter what You wear
Cuz runways aren't Your forte
You prefer the narrow road
Even though its not en vogue
The gospel looked so very cold
One night as I passed by
So I gave him my best sugar coat
And dressed it in a lie
We might as well just fold our hands
If we can't call a spade a spade
Cuz we will miss the heart each time
If we won't ever shoot them straight
These pleasantries shading me and you too
Let's part the clouds
And show the world the Son
Oh, Oh, Whoa

This living water will not quench us
If its watered down
Its not our place to hide again
This treasure that we've found

We might as well just fold our hands
If we can't call a spade a spade
Cuz we will miss the heart each time
If we won't ever shoot them straight
These pleasantries shading me and you too
Let's part the clouds
And show the world the Son

[To differentiate,]The historical person was a Ribi named Yehoshua.

His authentic teachings were written down by his apprentice student Matityahu and were later redacted into the “gospel of Matthew”. In his true teachings one finds that he taught – just that which is written in the Tank’’h) – that humankind are required to do their utmost to keep the directives in Torah non-selectively. The followers of Ribi Yehoshua were called the Netzarim and their message was always antithetical to Christianity [note 1].

Furthermore, the historical Ribi Yehoshua – ha-Mashiakh (the Messiah) was not an “incarnate man-god”. [2] The Netzarim never accepted the “NT”, because its teachings contradict Torah. [3]
He was a spiritual son, just like all Jews (Torah-observance is required according to Torah in order to be a Jew) and geirim (non-Jewish non-selectively Torah observant proselytes) are the spiritual sons of the Creator according to the Tan’’kh. He was not a divine “Son”.

Relating to the Creator exactly in the same way Ribi Yehoshua did – i.e. observing the Creators directives in the Torah – leads oneself into an intimate relationship with the Creator, which is very meaningful!

1.These statements are proved in the website of Netzarims website [the only legitimate Netzarim, located in Ra’anana]

  3. @Katie, it is Jimmy Needham. :) He has some really good songs!

@Anders. I appreciate your comment, and thanks for taking the time to write. I have grown closer to HaShem by following the Torah, so I do agree with you there. But I disagree with you that Yeshua was not G-d. But a huge reason is because I believe that the Akronim Ketuvim (aka. "New Testament") is a part of the Bible as being Inspired by G-d.

This leads me to ask: if you don't accept the NT, how then can you believe Yeshua is the Messiah? What are your sources? Because if the NT is wrong and contradicts Torah, how could you believe in "Ribi Yehoshua" as Messiah with a true credible source? Do you just trust historical sources? And if so, which are they?
